Prof. Human M. Fatemi, MD, PhD ART Fertility Clinics Human M. Fatemi currently holds the position of Group Medical Director of ART Fertility Clinics in UAE, Oman and India. He earned his MD degree (magna cum laude) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Brussels, Belgium, in 1999. In 2008, he was recognized as a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery by the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE) and the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG), and successfully defended his PhD thesis on the endocrinology of the luteal phase in stimulated and substituted cycles. In 2009, at the age of 35, he was appointed Clinical Professor at the University of Brussels, a post he held until 2014; he is also a visiting professor at Dubrovnik International University in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. Professor Fatemi is interested in many fields of gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and surgery. As of January 2023, he has authored over 200 internationally peer-reviewed articles and book chapters with a citation report of 4000 and a H-Index of 35. He is an invited reviewer of journals including Human Reproduction, Human Reproduction Update, Fertility and Sterility, and Reproductive Biomedicine Online, Plos One and BJOG. Currently, he is an associate editor of Frontiers of Endocrinology. He has given more than 250 invited spoken presentations at international conferences around the globe. Professor Fatemi has been awarded several grants, including a Pfizer Educational Grant as best graduate fellow in gynecology in Brussels, Belgium, and research grants from Organon, MSD, and Merck.
